Michigan

At the beginning part of August, we traveled up to Kalamazoo, MI for a reunion on my dad's side of the family. My Aunt Marie and Uncle Mike hosted it at their mini-resort/compound (home). Horses, llamas, several wooded acres, in-ground swimming pool (and I guess we should mention - lots of wonderful people!). It was a little piece of heaven.

My aunt invited the youngest generation to a tea party. Juice, animal crackers, strawberries, and of course, chocolate for dipping. As you can tell by the photos, it was a big hit.

Allie's favorite things about the weekend: seeing Papa T., playing with her "new friend" aka (cousin) Jenny, and picking/eating from my aunt and uncle's blueberry bushes. Judging by the bareness of the blueberry bushes after Allie spent some time (okay, hours) hanging out in them, I think this was her favorite thing about the weekend.
