It's amazing to watch the changes taking place in Allie. She's much less of a toddler, these days, and becoming quite the little girl.
This summer, she took gymnastics and soccer, for the first time. She's enrolled in gymnastics again this fall, and will probably take soccer again next year.

Allie started preschool on August 30th. She's attending 3 mornings each week. She had absolutely no problem making the transition. She loves going, and each day when I pick her up, she asks if she can go tomorrow too!
Allie loves to pretend (princesses, cooking, doctor, hair stylist). Lately, she's started role-playing as well. A: Mommy, I'm Belle and you're the Beast. (puts on music) Now, the Beast will dance with me. A: Mommy, be a knight. A: Mommy, you're Allie. I'm Ms. Laurie (her teacher). I'm going to read you a story. In addition to this, Allie has a knack for taking everyday things and making them larger than life. Tree-lined streets = forests, small hills = mountains, huge mounds of dirt = volcanoes, a local nursing home with a unique, German-esque architectural design = a castle.
She also loves to "craft". Coloring books, art projects, stickers, etc. And, she never tires of putting puzzles together.
She's a sweetie, a chatterbox, and a fun-loving, stubborn, independent, and energetic lover of life.
We can't imagine our lives without her.
