Katelyn's Getting Big!

Can you believe our little girl is almost 21 months? We definitely cannot!

Some interesting things about Katelyn:

1. She has an amazing vocabulary. I can't even begin to track the words she knows!
2. A couple of cute phrases: "I fun" - I had fun, I'm having fun. "I cited" - I'm excited. " 's yum" - It's yummy. "I yuv you" - I love you.
3. She loves to sing along with and hum along with songs!
4. She does an adorable little dance when it's dinner time, all the while, clapping, exclaiming "yay!" and pulling her sleeves up in preparation.
5. She loves books! She even insists on having some in her crib at bedtime.

6. She cannot get enough to drink. This child would suck down milk or "juice" (watered down sugar-free drink mix) all . day . long.
7. She loves to hold up her index finger in the air, look at me and say "one mo time". This usually happens when we're at the Y and she's trying to convince me to let her go down the slide in the play area one more time.

8. She's obsessed with the potty. No, we're not potty training yet. I'm not overly excited to begin this process again and really don't want to push her into it. She tells us when she's gone potty or is going potty in her diaper and often times asks to go sit on the potty. We, of course, oblige. She sits there for a few seconds, hops off and then proceeds to use 1/4 of the roll of toilet paper to wipe her bottom. :) She has gone pee pee on the potty once though!

9. She adores her big sister. They are beginning to interactively play together quite a bit. And they exchange hugs and kisses many, many times each day.
10. She loves to color, play with play dough, toy food, and baby dolls. She loves to watch "Dora" with her big sis.
11. She's pretty easy-going, very independent and certainly has a mind of her own!
