We're finally updating the blog! :) Here's a post from way, way back that was never published. I was waiting until we had the scanner installed on the new computer so we could include the pictures.

The Packers won the Superbowl! Thank goodness! We could have cared less, but Allie is a die-hard fan. We have her preschool to thank for that! Each Friday, they had school-wide pep rallies. The kids gathered in the gym and sang Packers' fight songs and cheers. The Friday before the Superbowl, the kids had a huge Packers celebration. In addition to lots of special green and gold artwork, her class made pom poms, cheese hats and were adorned with green and gold necklaces...all in preparation for the final pep rally and, of course, the big game.
The girls watched the first half of the game but went to bed at half-time. Allie believed the game to be over at the half and thought the Packers won the game. Thank goodness they continued their lead through the 2nd half. We would've had a lot of explaining to do, had they lost!
Go Packers!!! Congrats on your win. We hope you can pull it off again next year!!!
(It seems we're going to become die-hard Brewers fans too. I saw signs at preschool encouraging kids to wear there Brewers apparel on Monday, April 4th. Here we go again...!)
