Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday, Alex!
So how did he celebrate his 35th? By sleeping in an hour later than usual, partaking in some homemade french toast with blueberry syrup made by Allie and I (at 5:30am!), lunch with the family, and to finish out the day - errands and yard work (we made it a family affair (for better, or worse)).
No cake or presents. Katelyn's party is tomorrow and her cake will be doubling as Alex's (with 4 birthdays in July, we felt it was okay to combine some cakes)! And as for presents, his black, shiny, fresh out of the box just one week ago, Father's Day/Birthday/Anniversary present (a new laptop to replace his 7-year-old one) will just have to do. I don't think he's upset about the combined gift-giving. :)
We love you, Alex! Happy 35th! (I just had to get the year in there one last time!)
