A New Mode of Transportation

Here's a photo of Allie from Memorial Day weekend. She's working on her newest skill...walking.

She started using the walker a little before vacation, but had a couple of wipe-outs and became too nervous when we positioned her for future attempts. After riding in the car so much while in Maine, she came back raring to go. She is very good at it now and rarely falls. If she does, it is just down to her knees, where she inches forward for a little while, but just until she has the coordination to pull herself back up.

We often find her zipping up and down the hallway...oh the things she can get into now!
