Daddy, Mommy and I just came back from my very first family vacation. It was lots of fun. We rented a house in Camden, Maine with my Aunt Sue, Uncle Don and cousin Kevin. Not only did I get to play with them a lot, but I also spent lots of time with most of my aunts, uncles and cousins on the Mathies' side.
We did so much stuff (and took so many pictures) that it is hard to share everything (especially since I can't talk yet!). Here are just a few highlights (mostly of some of my "firsts) from the trip.
Day 1 - I flew for my very first time. Mommy was a little nervous about how I'd handle it, but Daddy and I knew it'd be no big deal. He and I have played airplane many, many times. The first flight I made lots of friends. And the second flight, I slept from take-off through landing.
Day 2 - Here's me and Daddy chillin' in front of our house, Wicker Cottage, right before we went to the Mathies Family Reunion at Camden Hills State Park. This was the first time I met some of my aunts, uncles and cousins. They were so fun!
Day 3 - A photo of Mommy and Daddy at Marshall Point Light in Port Clyde, ME. This was my first lighthouse and I missed seeing it because I was asleep in the car!
I was awake for the next stop though. Here's Daddy and I at Owls Head Light in Owls Head, ME.
Later that day we went to the Penobscot Narrows Observatory and Fort Knox in Prospect, Maine. I've never been to a fort before and I don't think I'll ever be able to build one as cool as this one. Here's Daddy, Mommy and I in the Observatory. Look at the view!
On Day 4, I took my first boat ride from Lincolnville to Islesboro. I didn't even know I was on the boat though. Daddy just drove the car onto the ferry while I was soundly asleep in the back seat!

On Day 5, we we went to Bar Harbor, Maine. It was here that I climbed to the top of my first mountain (Cadillac Mountain). Well the car did most of the climbing for me, since we drove to the top. I did get out and "hike" at the top though.
On Day 7, we said goodbye to Wicker Cottage and Uncle Don, Aunt Sue and cousin Kevin. Here are the final farewell photos.

We made our way down the coast again, stopping off at Old Orchard Beach (where I dipped my feet in the ocean for the first time), Cape Porpoise, Kennebunkport, Kennebunk and finally, Ogunquit.
Day 8 was the last day of our trip. We relaxed in Ogunquit in the morning. I got to walk in the ocean for a second time since Mommy and Daddy forgot their camera the first time around. The water was very cold, but I still had fun.

And, finally, here are a few of our scenic photos. Maine is so pretty!

Thanks Mathies family for making my trip so much fun. I can't wait to visit again soon!
