Congrats to Dave and Beth!

Earlier this month Alex, Allie and I were in Iowa City for my sister's wedding. We welcomed Dave, an incredibly nice guy, into the family. The wedding was so unique! The two were married at Mekong Chinese Thai & Vietnamese restaurant, where they have shared weekly dinners and countless lunches over the past 2-3 years. When they learned the restaurant would be closing its doors later this year, they felt it was appropriate to celebrate their marriage at a place they have grown to love. The evening could not have been lovelier. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate and the food was amazing!

And one to illustrate how exhausted we were after the weekend of festivities. Here, on the wedding night, our little party animal succumbs to sleep (about 4 hours past her normal bedtime). Allie was on her best behavior all weekend. Despite late bedtimes, few naps and hardly any opportunity to crawl around and explore, she was an angel!
