Lily's Firsts..

Lily's umbilical cord scab fell off last Sunday.

She had a doctor's visit on Wednesday - her first with NO heel pricks! She is 1/2 an ounce away from regaining her birth weight (currently at the 30th-35th percentile for weight). And another first (among our girls)- she is 21.5 inches long, putting her at the 90th percentile for length!!! (It seems she was actually longer than 20 inches at birth.)

Lily gave me her first intentional smile on Friday. Alex was on the phone and missed it. :(

First bath today (Saturday). (You know it's your 3rd kid when it takes you a week after the scab falls off to actually bathe them! In our defense, Lily's skin is really dry and we didn't want to dry it out more AND I didn't want Alex to miss it. When he was home this week, it never seemed like a good time.)

First professional photos for our little gal, today. We always waited until 3 months with the older girls but decided we wanted to capture the tininess this time around. We get the photos back on March 6th and I'll post them on here then.

So that's what's happening in Lily's little world. She's such a content, easy-going baby. We're crossing our fingers her disposition stays this way!
