Baby Girl Mathies will be here by or on Monday (and absolutely no later!!!!). :)
So what have we been doing to fill our days?
- Grandma Moffitt has been here visiting and helping out for the last few weeks. Thanks Mom!!! The kids have been enjoying time with Grandma and I've been enjoying a few kid-free hours here and there. AMAZING!!!!
- The girls are counting down the days until their baby sister arrives. Each day they take off a link. Thankfully there are only 2 left!!!!
- They love brainstorming baby names. Katie's favorites: Snickerdoodle, TylerOwen, Belle. Allie's favorites: Jesus, Cockadoodledo, Snickerdoodledo.
- They sing songs to their baby sister, Katie says "come out baby" on a daily basis (it's not working though!) and Allie likes to lay beside me and play soccer and gymnastics with the baby while her little sister is flipping around, kicking and jabbing us. Funny story - I was walking down the stairs recently and said to Alex, "This baby is going to fall out of me." Katie comes running and says, "I'll catch her Mommy!" So cute! They like to brainstorm ways they can help take care of the baby when she's born - feed her, hold her, read to her, tickle her, etc. I'm pretty sure they're going to be fabulous helpers and amazing big sisters.
