Katelyn turned 2 a few weeks ago. Our little baby girl is growing up so fast!
Fun facts about Katelyn:
- can count to 10
- sings the alphabet song (along with numerous other songs)
- loves, loves, loves playing with dolls and play food
- knows the storyline and enjoys reading Piggies and 5 Little Monkeys to herself.
- Dora and Elmo are her favorite tv characters
- has an amazing vocabulary. we're amazed everyday by the things she says.
- is quite the negotiator. at snack time she'll say "mom, how bout ____?" mom's reply - "nope". Katie - "mom, how bout ____?" and on and on.
- is such a cuddler. she loves to sit next to us on the couch and put her little arm behind our back and hold us. Other times she reaches over to hold our hands. Love.
- is incredibly shy to the extent that she completely turns her head away from people (for long periods of time) to avoid eye contact. At home, though, she's an entirely different child!
- is so polite! She says please, thank you and excuse me every day.
