Allie turned 4 earlier this month! It's so hard to wrap our brains around the fact she'll be in 4K this Fall and starting all day Kindergarten in a year. Really?! The years are going by much too quickly.
Some fun facts about Allie:
- She is very much a girly-girl AND very much a tomboy.
- The girl has an amazing attention span. Stickers, coloring, practicing her letters, crafting. She can do these things for hours, but only if SHE wants to. :)
- She loves to pretend and is quite the organizer. She loves to throw picnics and birthday parties for her stuffed animals and babies.
- (When she's not fighting with her) Allie is very mothering/big sisterly to Katelyn. She loves to read her books at nap time, teach her how to do things and tell her how to play when they are pretending. They really are becoming the best of friends.
- She can swim underwater and loves to show others.
- Bubble Guppies has surpassed Dora as her favorite tv show.
- She is extremely time-oriented and is very much a planner. She likes to know what we are doing, when we are doing it, how long we are doing it, etc.
- To Allie, life is all about negotiation. You tell her she can have 5 animal crackers and she immediately tells you "no, six." If you tell her it's going to take 15 mins. before we can do something, she says "how about 10."
- She's extremely independent and not swayed by the actions of others. She has no problem doing her own thing in peer situations. At the same time, she's very social and loves playing with her friends.
She's got a great big personality and constantly keeps us on our toes. And, we love her very much. Happy Birthday, Allie!
