Sand and Water

During the Labor Day weekend, we decided to take a trip to the beach. We headed north to Kohler-Andrae State Park on Sunday. The Park has beautiful sand dunes, a gorgeous beach and some flat hiking trails. Thinking it would be too cold to swim, we left the suits behind. Of course, when we got there, everyone was swimming. And, of course, our daughter wanted in on the action. So we stripped her down to her diaper and gave her free reign. She LOVED the water, and while Alex and I thought it was rather chilly, she had no problem submersing herself in it.







We had so much fun, we headed back up there on Monday. This time, however, we took our swim suits! Katelyn behaved wonderfully; sleeping in her car seat for most of the trip.
