Katelyn

The first two months have gone by so quickly with Katelyn. She is cooing, smiling, following us with her eyes, lifting her head up off our chests, shoulders or the floor and turning it from one side to the other in order to look around. She is eating about 6-8 times in a 24-hour period and is developing a regular sleeping/eating schedule at night (she is only waking for one middle of the night feeding!).

Everyone says things are different with the second child and that statement is so true. Alex and I find ourselves wishing we could press pause on all our day-to-day busyness so we could have a little uninterrupted time with Katelyn. But since we can't do that, we've come to appreciate the smiles, coos and precious bonding time even more.
