I'm sitting here in the office, hoping Allie will go back to sleep. She woke up from her nap crying, and I took Daddy's advice...if she wakes up crying hug her until she pats the mattress and she'll lay back down and go to sleep. It didn't work for me. She's been screaming for 10 minutes...but I'm hopeful. Anyway, she has now moved past screaming and is having a little conversation with her stuffed animals. And honest to goodness, it sounds like she is counting with them. "un, oo"...that's all I can make out as "recognizable". I've heard her making these sounds before, in the same sequence, so I'm very curious. If only I knew what was going on in that little brain of hers!
