Zoo!

So we took Allie to the Milwaukee zoo for the first time yesterday. The zoo regularly has free days on the first Saturday of every month during the off season. The weather was in the low 60's, so we thought it would be fun to go spend some time outdoors. Apparently half of the Milwaukee area had the same idea!!! I think we spent more time waiting in the parking line to get into the zoo and then me standing in line to go to the bathroom, than we did looking at animals! However, it all paid off when we were watching the gorillas. Allie and I were standing right behind the plexiglass and a huge gorilla ran along the glass, beating his hands on it, and then proceeded to take a seat right in front of us. It was amazing to watch Allie and the gorilla stare each other down for a minute or two! Overall, she liked the fish the most.
