A politician in the making

Alex and I put Allie to bed last night at 7pm (her typical bedtime) and settled in to watch the returns from Super Tuesday. After 2 hours of her protesting, we finally caved and let her get up to watch the reports with us. As you can see by the pictures, she was pretty happy to be in on the fun.

She must be a little uneasy about the returns. We assured her not to worry...there's still time for things to change.

That made her feel much better.

She has already learned how to smooze like the candidates. She rewarded us with kisses (about 10 apiece for Alex and I) which up until that point in the evening, she had been withholding.
Watch out Hillary...another few years and Allie will give you a run for your money!
