Allison's arrival

So my daughter was born today, and I think she is so beautiful. Her name is Allison Nicole Mathies (Allie) and she was born on July 12th, 2007 @ 8:36am. We went in to get induced at 7:30am on July 11th and started getting Pitocin at 9:30 am, leaving the total time in labor at 23 hours. Janelle and Allison are doing fine and Janelle had natural childbirth, avoiding the fear that she would need a c-section. We are at Evanston Northwestern Hospital Room 2602 until Saturday morning, at which time we will write again with an update!!!
