First Snow of the Year

We lucked out this year and the weather stayed warm, through November. Last weekend, we had our first measurable snowfall and this week, the single digit windchills have set in. Allie has been talking about snow and building snowmen now for weeks. You can bet, once we had enough measurable snow to play in, she was anxious to get out there.

She had a fun.


Katie, not so much.



Although, when Alex tried to bring her inside, she was quite perturbed and decided to stay out with her big sis.







Although, I'm not feeling overly ready to deal with colder weather, slick roads, shoveling and everything else snow brings, it is definitely beginning to look and feel a lot like Christmas!
