It has taken a while to get this post up because I have been compiling pictures. The last weekend of October, we were in Chicago and had a whirl-wind couple of days filled with church activities. On Saturday, Alex and I exchanged vows in the Catholic church...we only had a civil ceremony in the Bahamas. On Sunday, Allie had her Baptism. We were blessed to have a lot of family join us for these special events...many of them traveled great distances to be there. Thank you!
There were so many pictures to choose from...here are just a few:
Father Steve, Allie, Alex, Janelle, and Allie's Godparents - my brother, Charlie, and Alex's sister, Susan
This photo was taken right before Father Steve came and made the Sign of the Cross on Allie's sternum.
Allie wore my Baptismal gown that was made by Allison's Great Aunt, Barb Higgins.
Allie slept much of the ceremony and woke up screaming at the end...just in time for pictures. This was taken right before the ceremony started.
Mid-way through the ceremony, Allie looked like she was praying.
Daddy, Mommy & Allie before the ceremony.
Allie and her 11-month old cousin, Kevin, met for the first time this weekend. They seemed to hit it off!
