1 month already!

Allie just had her 1-month doctor's appointment. She now weighs 8 lbs. and is 20.5 inches long. She is getting so big so quickly!

Grandpa Thompson came for a visit last week and Allie had lots of fun playing with him! We took a trip to Michigan while he was here so Allie could meet some of her other relatives. We saw cousins whom we hadn't seen in years and it was wonderful to spend some time with everyone.


We are still working on finding a new place to call home. We made another trip to Wisconsin over the weekend and finally found a townhouse that we really like. We made an offer this morning and are hoping to have things finalized in the next few days! Cross your fingers everything works out!

We've had lots of road trips these last few weeks, and while we love taking them, we are very much looking forward to spending some time at home during our last few weeks here in Chicago. Alex leaves for a business trip this weekend and Allie and I are hoping the weather cools off a little so we can spend some time outside!
